At Weaver Wellness Care, Dr. Elizabeth Weaver keeps up to date with the latest evidence-based research in the field of eating disorder treatment. She collaborates with therapists, registered dietitians, along with other members of a patient’s treatment team to ensure patients receive the multidisciplinary approach to treatment that has been shown to lead to recovery.
Dr. Weaver’s extensive training includes serving as the medical director at both a residential and outpatient treatment center plus her work in private practice. Dr. Weaver is able to recognize the signs and symptoms of an eating disorder. She also screens all her patients for eating disorders, regardless of their outward appearance or their size.
